Help Hair Chocolate Recipes

Everyone has their favourite flavours, and hopefully our favourite recipes using Help Hair Whey Chocolate will bring some inspiration to you. Chocolate is a great base flavour, and is the base used for Help Hair's Mocha Frappe and Aztec Xocolatl flavours.

Chocolate, Banana & Peanut Butter Shake:

These are 3 flavours that blend together so well into a delicious protein shake. The peanut butter will add an extra kick of protein into your shake, while Banana is a great source of Potassium, Manganese and Vitamin B6 & C.

  • 1 scoop Help Hair Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp smooth, creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup almond milk (substitute in your favourite milk or just use water)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • A few ice cubes (add more ice cubes if your shake is too thick)

Mint Chocolate Chip Green Protein Smoothie

This smoothie contains avocado, a great source of Biotin, potassium and magnesium. It is also full of healthy fats, that will help to keep your hair strong and shiny. The spinach in this shake is a source of iron, which plays an important role in the body. Keeping your iron levels high will give your body the best platform to provide oxygen and nutrients to your hair follicles, ensuring the best growth.

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/4 fresh mint

Chocolate Raspberry Protein Shake

Like many berries, raspberry's are jam packed full of nutrients. Super rich in Vitamin C, raspberries feed your hair follicles and promote better blood flow.

  • 1 cup almond milk (substitute in your favourite milk or just use water)
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  • A few ice cubes (add more ice cubes if your shake is too thick)

Homemade Mocha Frappe Shake

While Help Hair already has a Mocha Frappe flavour, you may want to make your own. Everyone has their coffee of choice, so you can add your favourite brand and up the caffeine kick. Caffeine is known to increase blood circulation and stimulate quicker hair growth. Caffeine shampoos are extremely popular if somewhat ineffective. A shampoo doesn't stay on your scalp long enough to be absorbed. Be careful that too much caffeine can have negative affects on your health.

  • 1/2 cup almond milk (substitute in your favourite milk or just use water)
  • 1/2 cup of chilled coffee (Do not use Hot Coffee)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • A few ice cubes (add more ice cubes if your shake is too thick)
